'allo! I was just thinking about this and some other places I've RPed in and was wondering if maybe a few of these would fly here: "Journal" Topic on the forum under the Roleplay section: Not many use this, but I found it helps nicely with character development myself. :3 "Weather Forecast" Topic: If people wanna go that in depth into RPing and say when it is and when it isn't raining, windy, sunny, etc. Continuity Timeline: Help speed things along chronologicly. For example, one continuity I was in made each month a season. At the end of winter, it'd be a year. So there'd be 3 continuity years by the time we have 1. Town Outskirt Expansions/Dreams/Maps: Additional areas inside the main dream that would show the places surrounding Brenton, i.e. mountain ranges, desert, (or bandit hideout, considering the recent plotline ) Aaaaand that's about all I can think up at the moment.

Many good suggestions, some of which are in the works as we type xD
Weather is in the near future, I will soon *hopefully* be adding in ds to make it rain, make it night/day/dusk/dawn, as well as a few more interesting features to tickle your fancies.
The Journal is a good idea, I will make one shortly.
And for the outskirts: I have a few dreams in the works to be surrounding areas for RP. As of a few days ago, the actual dream of Brenton is full up, so I will be making atleast two of the following: - Bandit hideout: Some broken-down mill-type area situated beside a river of some sort. - Large plains: Various Native American tribes would be situated here for expanded RP, perhaps a trade-route running through for say the pony-express xD - A Canyon: I'unno... just an idea xD I'm sure y'all could find some sort of RP to take place there - A mountain: For the mountaineering lot of you. As well there will be *perhaps* a large overworld map for the dream to travel between dreams
*note* all dreams will be connected via dreamlinking so it will be easy to pass between dreams.

Okay, I had another little idea concerning fights. Somebody already mentioned it I believe but...dice systems. (DON'T SHOOT, HEAR ME OUT FIRST!)
I can see perks and flaws to having 'em. Yeah, people should know how to RP and not have a need for it at all, but there are cases where it might come in handy to make things quick and painless.
One example is quickdraws - let's face it, it's bound to happen sooner or later considering how many gunslingers we got runnin' about. At some point, two or more characters may be attempting to draw their gun faster than the other, leaving everybody involved to wonder who gets off the first shot by the time they're out. Moments like this, if a post can't decide it, would dice be alright then?
Another option is the infamous saving throw. XD Everybody's gotta get lucky sooner or later, right? Considering it's a western-based roleplay, maybe a coin would work better, or 1d2: Heads (1) ya win, Tails (2) ya lose. These would be limited, maybe everybody starts out with one per character to use as they see fit. I'd explain more revolving around this one, but I'll wait for feedback. These're just samples of a bunch of scenarios I worked out in my head.

Well for the first one I can see your point, and to you I give my congrats because you've swayed me =P For quick-draws and situations revolving more around luck I will allow the dice thingyeh... Say roll 1d10 or something. This can be debated and decided with the new update.
As for the saving throw... Not quite sure what you mean... Are you referring to a throw in which you die or not?

Sorta something like that. I mean, if you die and there's no chance in hell you have of getting out of it, then you're screwed, nice knowing you. XD
I guess the saving through luck thing would be something like divine intervention and junk, per se someone's gun jamming or somebody breaking your fall, or some random, nearby horse mulekicking somebody trying to run off. Stuff of that nature.
I can see a problem with that though when I think about it more. Somebody'd either have to be there to approve of those situations or it'd have to be cleared somehow, and even then it's a little unfair. If there were a way around that, maybe it'd be cool, but otherwise I'm stumped.

Well for that... I have to say no.
The reasoning for that is that A: you need a person there modding. B: Its kind of unfair. C: I dont like dice very much xD
I feel that if someone should die due to a fair RP then they should die or be seriously injured. (we have a medic that can help with the seriously injured xD
If a gun jams then you would RP that out. (and to be fair with that it is true that not many people would opt to have their gun jam, however you should try to add things like that into your RP to have some fun with things.)
Otherwise I like your other suggestion.

And I totally like the decision made. XD I didn't like it much after saying that either.
